Teens can connect and stay active at Youth Centres across Saskatoon. These free drop-in spaces offer sports, games and music for ages 12 to 16, with activities shaped by what local youth want to do. New this summer, Riversdale Pool will host an Outdoor Youth Centre in the park space outside the entrance.
The Travelling Play Program also pops up in parks throughout the summer, bringing equipment and organized games directly into neighbourhoods.
If your idea of summer fun includes wheels and ramps, check out Lions Skate Park at Victoria Park or any of the six other satellite sites across the city. Plus, the Travelling Skateboard Van provides an opportunity for youth to practice their boarding with skilled skateboard leaders who travel to a different site each day.
