Every day, the City of Saskatoon plans, builds and maintains the things you can see, like streets, sidewalks, bridges, parks, pools and transit. We also work on things that are not as visible but matter just as much, like accessibility, affordability, safety, sustainability and building strong communities.

City Stories is where we share the kinds of things you will not usually see in news releases, service alerts or on the City website. Some stories highlight the work happening across the organization, like projects, services and the people behind them. Others are simply interesting glimpses, including stories from the City archives.

It is a space to share a bit more of the story behind the City’s work, and the people, places and moments that help shape Saskatoon over time.
